The Division of Real Estate and the HOA Information & Resource Center are pleased to present the 2023 Annual Report for the HOA Information & Resource Center.

To help empower homeowners of common-interest communities (“HOAs”) and to safeguard and protect their properties, the Governor signed House Bill 24-1091 into law on Tuesday, March 12, 2024.

The HOA Homeowners' Rights Task Force will hold a public meeting via Webinar on Friday, March 22, 2024 from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. (MT).

Homeowner associations can be a great mechanism for reducing individual owner responsibilities, elevating neighborhood appearances, providing amenities, and increasing property values.

The Metropolitan District Homeowners’ Rights Task Force, created by HB23-1105, will hold a public meeting via webinar on Monday, February 26, 2024, from 2:00 P.M. until 4:30 P.M (MT).

At the February 26, 2024 meeting, the Metropolitan District Homeowners’ Rights Task Force will hear public testimony from interested parties.

The Colorado Common Interest Ownership Act (“CCIOA”) requires that all associations located in Colorado register with the Division of Real Estate and renew on a yearly basis.

On May 24, 2023, Governor Polis signed HB23-1105 into law. This bill creates two task forces aimed to investigate and present written reports on issues affecting those that work or live in HOAs in Colorado.
